I installed this unit in 2005. i did have a problem with the swirl plate and replaced it for under four dollars. the problem was the vent length, I added two 90's to the vent to increase the length and have had no problems since. the unit has run flawlessly and saved me hundereds on my gas bill. I am not a HVAC person and spent months reasearching boilers and how they operate. I insatlled the unit(change out) and new zone valves for under 4K. all the estimates were over 11K. I am very pleased.

I had this condensing boiler installed for DHW and a 5-zone in-floor radiant heating system for new construction in 2004. I have experienced service calls ranging from flow switches, igniter issues, blocked venting dues to ice dams and now a major failure of the blower motor. My unit performs well in the summer an seems to fail each November when the weather turns cold. My unit is located in Homer, Alaska.
