Armstrong manufacturers air handlers for heating and air conditioning applications. Armstrong produces air handlers for both air conditioning and heat pump systems along with a full line of gas furnaces. Armstrong air handlers can be configured with direct drive multi speed blower motors or they can be configured with direct drive variable speed blower motors. Variable speed blower motors are for higher efficiency air handlers and offer soft start ramp up and ramp down blowers.
Features of Armstrong air handlers can be matched to either an R-22 or R-410A system, polymer drain pans for rust prevention, insulated cabinet for heat loss heat gain reduction, quiet operation, and a good Armstrong warranty.
