Trane Air Handler Reviews


Trane manufactures air handlers for residential and commercial applications. Trane air handlers can be configured for a multitude of HVAC applications including gas furnace with air conditioning, heat pumps with back up electric heat or gasback up heat, air conditioning with electric heat, or just straight air conditioning. Features of Trane air handlers are air tight construction to prevent air losses, quiet operation with either a variable speed motor or multi-speed motor, can be configured for R-22 refrigerant or R-410A refrigerant, built in filter with easy access, optional communication feature, and the Trane warranty with all new Trane air handler purchases.

Trane makes a good air handler. The contractor did an excellent job installing the system and they were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

This Trane heat pump air handler was installed just before we moved into the house and it works fine........no problems!
