Trane Heat Pumps
Trane produces heat pumps with both R-22 and R-410A with maximum efficiency rating to 8.9 HSPF (Heating Seasonal performance Factor) on their high end efficienct models. The higher end super efficient models offer an optional communication link that is hooked up to your telephone system so that the system can be viewed over the internet. Trane calls it their ComfortLink system. Trane describes their different efficiency rating on their models from XL (mid-range efficiency to top range efficiency), XR (models that range from low end to mid range efficiency ratings), and XB models which can be described as builders grade and the efficiency ratings go from minimum to mid range.

They claim their indoor blowers and outdoor units are quiet so you won't be bothered by HVAC equipment operating noise. York is one of the only HVAC equipment manufacturers that offers custom colors to match your homes decor. They even have models that can be customized to your favorite college. York offers equipment that comes with either R-22 or R-410A refrigerant. York makes good HVAC equipment but again as I've said before the equipment is only as good as the installation. If you have a poor installation then chances are you won't be happy and your equipment will not run as designed.

There model name include the Prestige Series for the higher to mid-range efficiency models and the Classic Series for lower efficiency to mid range efficiency models.
