I loved this new unit, especially since our old one was almost 20 years old...maybe older. I loved it until it started this winter!!!! It's extremely loud! We are in the middle of an airport plane path, and I thought it was a plane coming down on top of us! Scared the crap out of me!!!! They say a sound blanket will help, but I can't find one on the internet. They priced me $90, and that was after I already dished out 3500.00 for the unit!!!! Dang, make sure it's in the contract while you buy one of these; otherwise you may just bolt out of bed, or have sleepless nights like myself...

My friend installed this heat pump for me and he works for an HVAC contractor. I got a good price for everything but I have had problems with it. I'm not sure sure if its installed properly and that maybe that is why I'm have problems
